Vyacheslav "Strannik" Rohovyi

Artist
Vyacheslav "Strannik" Rohovyi is an outstanding Ukrainian artist whose works have gained recognition both in Ukraine and abroad. Born on November 23, 1957, in Makeyevka, he has spent most of his life in Kryvyi Rih, dedicating himself to visual arts.

From an early age, Vyacheslav studied under renowned masters such as Yu. Zelenoy and Shevchenko Prize laureate Grigory Sinitsa. Under their influence, he developed his unique artistic method called "Interaction with Space" (Rekiton), which is based on the use of symbolic information systems: color, number, sign, ornament, and symbolism. This method creates powerful color flows reminiscent of icons and mandalas.

In 1990, Vyacheslav became one of the founders of the first Museum of Contemporary Art in Kryvyi Rih and the cultural and creative association "AYA". Throughout his career, he has participated in over 100 exhibitions worldwide, including the UNESCO headquarters in Paris and the "Ukrainian House" in Kyiv. His works are also found in private collections in Germany, France, Italy, the USA, Peru, and other countries.

Among Vyacheslav's recent achievements is his participation in the Summer Exhibition 2019 at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, where his works attracted international attention. His dedication to exploring themes of humanity and the cosmos, as well as the spiritual aspects of life, makes his work unique and deeply philosophical.

Vyacheslav Rohovyi continues to actively work and develop contemporary art, remaining true to his ideals and creative vision.
